R&L Bus Lines, founded and operated by Laurie and Wendy Evans, specializes in student transportation for various school boards including Hastings & Prince Edward, Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic, Renfrew County District, and Renfrew County Catholic School Boards. Their commitment to safely transporting students has made them a trusted partner in the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services and Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium.

Over the past three decades, R&L Bus Lines has expanded its operations by acquiring routes from other local bus operators who wished to retire. This growth has been supported by strong community ties, with several former operators continuing to drive the vehicles alongside R&L. Laurie and Wendy have expressed their confidence that Switzer-CARTY will uphold the same standard of care and service to the Bancroft and Renfrew school communities as they did.
