With annual revenues of approximately £190 million, ERUK is recognized for its significant contributions to the circular economy, particularly in recycling and processing used batteries.
Based in Matlock, Derbyshire, ERUK operates Europe's largest advanced lead battery recycling facility, along with a sheet lead production site in Welwyn Garden City. This combination positions ERUK as the UK's largest integrated lead recycling and refining operation. The company has established a strong track record in recovering over 99.97% of the lead content in used batteries, transforming scrap lead into refined lead, alloys, and lead sheets while generating viable by-products for sale.
