Ørsted’s power distribution business, known as Radius, is a significant player in the energy sector, supplying electricity and gas to nearly one million end users in the Copenhagen area, North Zealand, and parts of Central Zealand. This extensive operation is supported by a power grid comprising approximately 19,000 kilometers.
In addition to its core power distribution services, Radius manages a residential business that serves approximately 717,000 electricity customers and 106,000 gas customers. Furthermore, the city light segment operates and maintains around 145,000 street lights across 15 municipalities in Zealand, underscoring the diverse utility services provided by Ørsted's distribution arm.
