REMONDIS has acquired Delete Group, enhancing its presence in the Nordic cleaning services market following Delete's strategic focus and expansion in Finland and Sweden.
Target Information
REMONDIS has reached an agreement to acquire Delete Group, a prominent Nordic provider focusing on specialized cleaning and sewer services for the industrial, real estate, and public sectors. Headquartered in Helsinki, Delete Group has strategically streamlined its operations in recent years by divesting non-core assets to concentrate on enhancing its cleaning services in both Finland and Sweden. Since being acquired by Axcel in 2013, Delete Group has successfully expanded into the Swedish market and currently holds a robust position in the cleaning services sector across diverse industries.
Sirpa Ojala, CEO of Delete Group, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "Delete Group is a leading Nordic cleaning services provider. During Axcel’s ownership, the company has expanded into the Swedish market. Through the recent divestments of our demolition and recycling operations, we now have a clear strategic focus on the growing and resilient cleaning services market in the Nordics. I want to thank Axcel for their support in transforming Delete Group, and we look forward to starting a new chapter with REMONDIS."
