This transaction, which is set to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015, marks a significant expansion for the Munich-based investment firm into the packaging sector. The facility in Catalonia employs approximately 220 staff and produces up to 195,000 tons of cardboard from recycled paper annually. In the fiscal year 2014, the plant reported revenues amounting to EUR 117 million.
