Poste Italiane S.p.A. has approved the merger of Bridge Technologies S.r.l. into its operation. Bridge Technologies is a subsidiary wholly owned by Poste Italiane, which aims to consolidate its IT functions. The decision was made by the Board of Directors of Poste Italiane, chaired by Silvia Maria Rovere, and is part of a larger strategy begun in 2018 to streamline the organizational structure of the company. This merger will directly integrate Bridge's activities and resources into Poste Italiane.
The merger is scheduled to be effective during the fiscal year 2026 and will not result in the issuance of new shares, nor will there be any allocation of Poste Italiane shares to the shareholders of Bridge. Additionally, there will be no amendments to Poste Italiane's statutory structure associated with this merger.
