PAI Partners has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Beautynova, a prominent global professional haircare platform. This acquisition will be executed through the PAI Mid-Market Fund (PAI MMF). Upon completion, PAI will become the majority stakeholder, while Bluegem Capital Partners will retain a significant minority interest alongside other co-investors. Beautynova boasts a diverse portfolio of well-known brands such as milk_shake®, z.one concept™, and Medavita, and is recognized for its innovation in haircare products across treatment, coloring, and styling categories, offering over 18,000 formulas.

With its headquarters in Italy, Beautynova has established a robust international presence, exporting to over 70 countries, with 70% of its revenue generated from markets outside Italy, particularly in the United States and Europe. Under the stewardship of Bluegem since 2020, Beautynova has seen a transformative journey, tripling its sales and significantly strengthening its foothold in the U.S. market, which currently accounts for 18% of total sales.
