Caracol secures $40 million in Series B funding, co-led by Omnes Capital and Move Capital, to enhance its global growth and technological advancements in large-format robotic manufacturing.
Target Information
Caracol is one of Europe's fastest-growing deep-tech companies and a pioneer in large-format robotic manufacturing. The company has recently closed a $40 million Series B funding round, co-led by Omnes Capital and Move Capital Fund I, with CDP Venture Capital – Large Ventures Fund playing a crucial role in facilitating the entry of international investors. Together with significant Italian institutional investors, these funds will support Caracol in its next phase of global growth, while long-term shareholders such as Primo Capital SGR, Eureka! Venture SGR, and Neva SGR (the venture capital firm of Intesa Sanpaolo Group) continue to provide valuable backing.
This new funding will accelerate Caracol's global growth and international expansion efforts. The company aims to strengthen its leadership in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East while extending its presence in high-potential markets such as Asia, building on successful results achieved in Japan. Technologically, Caracol will enhance its multi-process and multi-material platforms, focusing on software, automation, and artificial intelligence to ensure data-driven process control and unparalleled quality. Additionally, the company will improve its metal additive manufacturing technologies in highly regulated sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, and marine, while also expanding its composite manufacturing technologies for key industries including transportation, construction, and architecture. Caracol intends to continue growing its global team, welcoming new international talent to drive innovation and scalability. Currently, the company employs over 100 staff across its three locations — Milan (Italy), Austin (USA), and Dubai (UAE) — with a global reach spanning over 50 countries.
