Space One was founded in 2018 through a collaboration among Canon Electronics Inc., IHI Aerospace Co., Shimizu Corporation, and Japan Policy Investment Bank. The company specializes in providing space transportation services, managing the entire process from the development and manufacturing to the launch of the Kairos small rocket, which is designed to transport small satellites.
