SOCAR has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) aimed at enhancing its operations within the Turkish logistics sector. The signing ceremony, held in Baku, marked the initiation of this partnership, which will leverage investments at SOCAR Terminal, the largest container port in the Aegean region, to elevate Turkey's position in the global supply chain.
As Turkey's leading foreign direct investor and integrated industrial group, SOCAR Türkiye is committed to expanding and strengthening its port operations under SOCAR Terminal. This partnership with MSC, the world’s largest container shipping company, will see Terminal Investment Limited (TIL), MSC’s subsidiary, become a partner at SOCAR Terminal. The collaboration will facilitate integration into TIL's extensive global network, enhancing the terminal’s capabilities through new equipment and technological investments, thereby increasing operational efficiency.
