Morphosis Capital has launched Echo Elderly Care, a platform to establish a national network of high-quality elderly care services in Romania, starting with the integration of two existing facilities.
Target Information
Bucharest-based Echo Elderly Care is a newly established platform dedicated to creating a high-quality network of elderly care services in Romania. The initiative is backed by Morphosis Capital Fund II in collaboration with the Romania Recovery Equity Fund and the InvestEU Fund. The platform will initially focus on integrating two existing care facilities: AsertivO Elderly Center in Otopeni and Maria Theresia Seniorenresidenz in Sibiu, which will serve as the foundational core of Echo Elderly Care.
Gabriela Dumitru, Partner at Morphosis Capital, emphasizes the platform’s ambition to become a trusted national entity within a sector characterized by soaring demand and insufficient supply. Romania's demographic trends, compounded by significant emigration, have resulted in an urgent need for professional long-term elderly care, highlighting the sector's underdevelopment. The primary goal of Echo Elderly Care is to establish a consistent standard of care and operational excellence, ensuring families can rely on uniform quality across all service locations.
