MEA Group has divested its Metal Applications division to the Meiser Group, allowing it to focus on the growing sectors of Water Management and Construction Systems.
Target Information
On January 31, 2024, the MEA Group, under the strategic guidance of ADCURAM, finalized the sale of its Metal Applications division to the Meiser Group, located in Schmelz-Limbach. Since ADCURAM's acquisition in 2018, the Metal Applications division has strengthened its position through the construction of a new facility in Pilsen (Czech Republic) and the acquisition of a stainless steel company. Additionally, ADCURAM has actively supported the Metal Applications management in professionalizing processes and promoting organizational independence.
Following the sale, MEA will focus its efforts on the Water Management and Construction Systems sectors. This strategic shift is aimed at addressing the rising demand for intelligent drainage solutions, including flood protection, as well as exposure and ventilation systems for basement areas. With its international presence and approximately €100 million in revenue, MEA is recognized as a leading player in these fields.
