Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), recognized as India's largest renewable energy company, is poised to make significant contributions to Maharashtra's energy landscape through a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). Under the recently issued Letter of Intent (LOI), AGEL will supply 5 GW (5000 MW) of solar power, leveraging the initiatives underway at the world's largest renewable energy park located in Khavda, Kutch District, Gujarat. Additionally, Adani Power Limited (APL), India's foremost private thermal power producer, will enter into a long-term Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with MSEDCL for the provision of 1496 MW (net) of thermal power from a new 1600 MW Ultra-supercritical thermal power project.
