KNDS Deutschland and Leonardo have entered into a joint agreement to develop a new self-propelled artillery system. This initiative follows the signing of a Letter of Intent by Florian Hohenwarter, the future CEO of KNDS Deutschland, and Roberto Cingolani, the CEO and General Manager of Leonardo, at KNDS Deutschland's facility in Amsterdam.
The new artillery system will utilize the Artillery Gun Module from KNDS and an advanced version of a platform developed by Leonardo. The partnership aims to enhance industrial collaboration to improve supply chain resilience and reduce time to market for their solutions.
