The reactivation facility located in Purton, UK, specializes in regenerating spent granular and pelletized activated carbon for subsequent reuse. The facility's processes include Green reactivation, which is suitable for potable water and food-related applications, as well as Amber reactivation, designated for non-food-related uses. The transaction is anticipated to conclude in the third quarter of 2024, with projected revenue from the facility in 2023 amounting to several million euros and the transfer of nine employees to Kemira.
