A group of private investors has acquired Ateliers de Monsin, a Belgian steelworking company specializing in wear-resistant parts, aiming to enhance its growth and operational capabilities.
Target Information
The Ateliers de Monsin (LADM) has recently been acquired by a group of private investors. Founded in 1981 by Jean and Richard Jamotte, and later joined by Richard's sons, LADM is a family-owned business specializing in steel work for wear-resistant parts and the sale of spare parts for various sectors, including construction, civil engineering, quarries, and recycling. Over the years, the company has established a significant internal expertise in producing custom wear parts through its four workshops: bending, oxy-fuel cutting, welding, and machining.
As a result of its high-quality offerings and experience, LADM has become a key player in the market, further enhanced by its status as a distributor of HARDOX Wearparts, awarded by SSAB Swedish Steel, a global leader in hardened steels. The outgoing shareholders are enthusiastic about this transaction and will continue to play an operational role in the company, collaborating closely with the new owners to ensure a smooth transition.
