InfraRed Capital Partners (“InfraRed”), a prominent international infrastructure asset manager, has announced its majority investment in NxN Data Centers (“NxN”). Established in 2023, NxN is a next-generation data center platform based in Spain, resulting from a joint venture between Nethits Telecom Group (“Nethits”) and asset manager Adequita Capital (“Adequita”). The platform is designed to meet the increasing storage and computing demands of Spanish enterprises, focusing particularly on regional customers. Its vision is to develop a network of efficient, hyperconnected data centers that offer essential infrastructure services tailored to businesses' computing and storage needs, especially pertinent in the context of artificial intelligence and rapid digitalization.
The first asset under NxN is a 5MW facility currently under construction in Valencia, expected to open in 2027. This data center will provide high-quality, AI-ready, energy-efficient colocation solutions for both public and private entities across the region. Infrastructure investor InfraRed, alongside minority investor Adequita, is committed to supporting the development of this significant asset and exploring further expansion across the Iberian Peninsula.
