The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the foremost hospitality player in India, has announced the signing of its inaugural hotel in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. This new venture will be branded as Vivanta, marking a significant expansion of IHCL's presence in the region. The Greenfield hotel will consist of 120 rooms and will serve as a pivotal establishment in an area known for its industrial significance and proximity to major gas fields.
The hotel aims to provide exceptional services and amenities typical of the Vivanta brand, featuring notable facilities such as the all-day dining venue Mynt, a bar, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and over 550 square meters of modern banqueting space, including versatile meeting rooms. Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, emphasized the strategic importance of Rajahmundry, as it is home to substantial industrial activities and acts as one of India’s major bullion centers.
