Ascora, a prominent French multi-expertise insurance brokerage firm, has entered into a partnership with IK Partners. The deal involves a majority acquisition by the IK Small Cap IV fund, structured as a Management Buy-Out (MBO) to facilitate the succession of its founder, Stéphane Henry. Established in 1989, Ascora ranks among the top 20 insurance brokers in France and offers a comprehensive range of services that includes distribution, underwriting, policy production, and claims management.
The company operates across three main areas of expertise: real estate, property and casualty (IARD), and personal insurance. Primarily based in Île-de-France, Ascora serves over 12,000 clients and is recognized for its technical expertise, strong local culture, and exceptionally high-quality service tailored to meet the specific needs of its clients. In this new phase of development, Ascora aims to continue its consolidation strategy, having already acquired thirteen brokers.
