HP TRONIC has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of the leading Czech appliance manufacturer ETA a.s. from Benson Oak Capital, aiming to enhance its portfolio and meet evolving consumer needs in the small domestic appliance market.

ETA a.s., established in 1943 and located in Hlinsko, Czech Republic, is a prominent manufacturer and marketer of small domestic appliances. The brand is highly recognized, boasting consumer awareness exceeding 90%. ETA’s product offerings range from vacuum cleaners and irons to kitchen appliances and haircare products. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011, ETA reported sales of Kč 770 million.
This acquisition will place ETA under the portfolio of HP TRONIC, the largest consumer electronics trading group in the Czech Republic, which also represents renowned brands such as Hyundai, Goddess, and Gallet.
