Albarest Partners, through its Albacap fund, has acquired a majority stake in High Connexion, a leading French mobile marketing and payment solutions provider, to drive its future growth.

High Connexion is a prominent French company that specializes in innovative mobile marketing and payment solutions. Founded in 2008 by Bruno Laurent and the HighCo group, it offers a range of messaging services that include transactional and promotional SMS, as well as conversational SMS via RCS (Rich Communication Services) and Time2chat. High Connexion also provides secure payment services enabling seamless transactions, including card payments and SMS donations, and is licensed by the ACPR as a payment institution.
Acting as a key intermediary between messaging service providers and businesses, High Connexion boasts a client base of over 370 companies and associations that utilize its services to boost their operations. Currently capturing approximately 10% of the French SMS market, which sees 14 billion messages sent annually, High Connexion has experienced robust growth, averaging 14% per year since 2021, and reported a revenue exceeding 60 million euros in 2024. The company employs around 30 staff members across three locations: Oullins, Paris, and Aix-en-Provence.
