The project involves the acquisition of a 72,000 square foot lot located at 1855 Dollard Avenue, near the intersection of Newman Boulevard in LaSalle. The objective is to revitalize an old commercial site, previously home to an automobile dealership, into a multifamily residential development consisting of 155 housing units.
This initiative aligns with LaSalle’s ecological transition objectives, addressing various criteria such as increasing green spaces, implementing sustainable construction practices, and ensuring eco-friendly management of parking facilities. The project aims to secure LEED certification and achieve energy performance that is 40% superior to the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB), ensuring high environmental standards and providing a high-quality living environment for future residents.
