Genesis Capital has acquired a majority stake in the Slevomat group, a leading online platform in the Czech Republic and Slovakia focused on travel and local experiences. This acquisition marks the first investment from their latest fund, Genesis Private Equity Fund V (GPEF V), which has a current size of €270 million.
The investment will proceed in collaboration with the existing management team, which will co-invest alongside the fund and continue to oversee and develop the group moving forward. Additionally, family office Jitka Cechlová Komárková is also participating in the transaction.
