Fragadis, a supermarket chain based in La Canonja (Tarragonès), has finalized an asset acquisition from Economy Cash, which is operated by Kuups Design International. Fragadis is owned by the Fraga family and currently operates under the Spar and Eurospar brands.
This acquisition allows Fragadis to expand its footprint significantly, adding over half of Kuups' establishments to its portfolio. Following this deal, Fragadis will operate a total of 218 stores, covering an area of 280,000 square meters and employing approximately 2,900 staff members. In addition to strengthening its position in the Valencian market, this move also marks Fragadis's entry into the regions of Murcia and Albacete.
