The venture fund 'Voskhod,' anchored by the Interros group, has initiated a project to develop an autonomous electric high-speed passenger vessel named FLYMAR, specifically designed with hydrofoils. This endeavor marks the first venture-builder model project for the fund, where it has taken the lead in assembling a team from the ground up. The initial investment for this project amounts to 100 million rubles, provided by the fund along with contributions from a business angel.

FLYMAR will incorporate the development of three core technologies: an intelligent autonomous navigation system, an energy-efficient electric drive, and the subsequent creation of a passenger vessel utilizing hydrofoils. The initial model, FLYMAR F9, will be nine meters in length, capable of carrying up to ten passengers, with a targeted speed of 45-50 km/h and a range of 80 km. The vessel's design allows for operation in shallow waters while a bow loading door facilitates easier docking. Pre-orders for the F9 are expected to open in early 2026, with plans for a larger FLYMAR F12 model capable of accommodating 30 passengers in the future.
