Information on the Target
Extra Innings Ventures is pleased to announce its investment in MesoMat, a groundbreaking technology startup situated in Hamilton, Ontario, focused on enhancing tire management for vehicle fleets. On June 11, 2025, MesoMat completed a successful Seed funding round, raising $1.5 million. This round was spearheaded by Ridgeline Ventures, with additional participation from RISC Capital, RPV Global, and the Golden Triangle Angel Network, including the Archangel Network's Adrenaline and Starforge Funds.
MesoMat has developed an innovative platform that integrates advanced sensors within tires to monitor critical metrics such as tread depth, tire pressure, temperature, and load in real-time. By merging proprietary hardware with cloud-based analytics and artificial intelligence, the company provides actionable insights that empower fleet operators to enhance performance, minimize downtime, and reduce costs. Furthermore, considering that tire performance can influence up to 10% of a vehicle's carbon emissions, MesoMat's technology presents an immediate solution for decreasing fuel consumption and emissions in the trucking and heavy-vehicle sectors, thereby contributing to a more sustainable future.
