Enterprise Investors partially exits Skarbiec Holding, selling a 31% stake while retaining 44%, realizing a net revenue of €12.5 million.
Target Company Overview
Skarbiec Holding, a leading independent asset management company in Poland, has recently undergone a partial exit by Enterprise Investors (EI) through a secondary transaction on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In this deal, the Polish Enterprise Fund V (PEF V), managed by EI, divested 31% of its stake in Skarbiec, retaining a 44% ownership in the firm. Skarbiec manages 59 funds and sub-funds, overseeing approximately €3.6 billion in assets, positioning itself as the fifth largest asset manager in Poland.
The company offers a diverse range of products including equities, bonds, mixed funds, money market funds, and dedicated resources, catering to both domestic and international investors. Following a significant investment by PEF V in 2007, Skarbiec has notably improved its performance, expanding its distribution network and increasing its assets under management fivefold, thereby strengthening its foothold in the rapidly growing market. The firm was listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in November 2014.
