Grupo Amper has successfully entered into an agreement with COFIDES to acquire a 25% stake in Elinsa, a subsidiary that specializes in energy management and storage. This strategic investment amounts to €41.2 million and will be executed through the International Investment Fund (FIEX) alongside a capital increase.
The funds generated from this investment will enable Elinsa to enhance its production capabilities, particularly in manufacturing power electronics equipment designed for energy investment and storage. A significant focus will be on expanding exports to international markets, with a new factory set to be constructed in the Morás industrial park in Arteixo, A Coruña. Additionally, the investment will support the establishment of a second production plant and enhance industrial digitization along with technological improvements in production processes. A portion of the funds will also be directed towards strengthening the industrial, technological, and operational assets of Elinsa Brasil, where considerable growth is anticipated.
