Central Moloney, Inc. ("CMI"), a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, has acquired Cam Tran Co. Ltd. ("Cam Tran"), which holds the position of the largest manufacturer of distribution transformers in Canada and is also recognized as the largest North American producer of amorphous metal transformers ("AMTs"). This acquisition results in the formation of one of the largest production entities for distribution transformers in North America, equipped with substantial manufacturing capacity and diverse engineering expertise. The newly combined entity will employ approximately 1,000 individuals and will operate eight specialized manufacturing facilities throughout North America.
