Capital Dynamics, a global private asset management firm, has successfully acquired a 100% equity stake in six solar photovoltaic (PV) assets located in Spain. This acquisition consists of two separate portfolios, featuring a total capacity of approximately 317 MWp. The first portfolio includes three construction-ready solar PV projects in Andalucía, while the second consists of three fully consented solar assets in the Aragon province. Each of these projects has entered into Pay-as-Produced (PaP) power purchase agreements with an S&P 500 company, ensuring a stable revenue stream upon becoming operational.
The asset portfolio in Andalucía is set to be completed by the end of 2024, whereas the Aragon portfolio is expected to commence commercial operations by the second half of 2025. These renewable energy assets will significantly contribute to Spain's energy landscape, providing substantial amounts of clean energy and aiding in the reduction of carbon emissions.
