Copley Point Capital has entered into a joint venture with Brookfield to recapitalize a substantial UK logistics portfolio valued at approximately £180 million. This portfolio encompasses 1.5 million square feet of income-generating assets previously owned by Copley Point and investment funds advised by Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP. Under this collaboration, Copley Point will maintain an interest in the joint venture as well as oversee the ongoing asset and development management of the portfolio.
The portfolio consists of 10 high-quality logistics assets strategically located in key logistics markets, including the Midlands, Yorkshire, and the South of England. These regions boast strong transport connectivity and experience significant supply and demand imbalances, making them prime locations for logistics operations.
