Initially established in 2010 by PUR, a prominent developer of nature-based solutions, Jubilación Segura was designed to combat the pressing challenges of deforestation and unsustainable farming techniques in affected regions. The project intends to substantially expand its operations, targeting the distribution of 4.4 million trees over a five-year period and planning to involve an additional 4,000 smallholder farmers.
