Antler Gold Inc. (“Antler” or the “Company”) is a prominent player in the mining sector, well-known for its commitment to gold exploration and development. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Antler Gold Namibia (Pty) Ltd. (“Antler Namibia”), has finalized a binding agreement dated April 13, 2022, to acquire a 90% stake in the Onkoshi Gold Project located in Namibia from an unrelated vendor.
The Onkoshi Gold Project, which is approximately 140 kilometers northwest of Windhoek, was formerly recognized as the Erindi and Vredelus Projects. This project has undergone extensive historical exploration work, including drilling campaigns that laid the groundwork for future development. According to a NI 43-101 report prepared in 2004 for Helio Capital Corporation, the project shows promising mineralization, although the results remain unverified by Antler.
