CommScope has sold its Connectivity and Cable Solutions segment to Amphenol Corporation, focusing on enhancing shareholder value and streamlining operations as it transitions to the rebranded Vistance Networks.

Target Information

CommScope (NASDAQ: COMM) has successfully finalized the sale of its Connectivity and Cable Solutions (CCS) segment to Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH). The original definitive agreement for this transaction was announced on August 4, 2025. The proceeds from this sale, after settling transaction-related fees and expenses, are intended to eliminate all outstanding debt and redeem preferred equity held by the global investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG). Following the incorporation of modest leverage on its remaining operations, CommScope is projected to hold substantial excess cash, which is expected to be distributed to shareholders as a dividend within 60 to 90 days of the transaction's closing.

As a result of the transaction, CommScope will rebrand itself to Vistance™ Networks effective January 14, 2026. The CCS segment will retain the CommScope name and brand, while Vistance Networks will focus on a streamlined portfolio, which includes its Access Networks Solutions (ANS) and RUCKUS Networks segments. The Access Networks Solutions division will be rebranded as Aurora Networks®, establishing its reputation as a leader in access network solutions.
