InfraBridge, a prominent infrastructure investment manager, has announced the sale of a 51% stake in a newly established holding company. This holding company owns 100% of Leeds Bradford Airport and 49% of Newcastle International Airport, in a transaction valued at approximately £270 million. Following the completion of this deal, InfraBridge will maintain a 49% ownership of the holding company.
Leeds Bradford Airport served around 4.3 million passengers in the financial year ending in March 2025, while Newcastle International Airport facilitated 5.2 million passengers in the financial year ending in December 2024, providing services from 16 airlines to over 80 direct destinations. Both airports are recognized as freehold assets and will continue to operate independently.
