Mercedes-Benz do Brasil has invested in Raízen Power's "Dunamis" project, securing 100% renewable energy for its manufacturing facilities while advancing its CO2 neutrality goals.

Mercedes-Benz do Brasil, a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, is a prominent player in the Latin American automotive sector, recognized for manufacturing and exporting trucks and buses for nearly 70 years. The company is now making significant strides towards achieving CO2 neutrality in its production facilities located in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) and Juiz de Fora (MG) through its engagement in the "Dunamis" solar energy project initiated by Raízen Power.

The "Dunamis" project features several solar plants constructed in Santana dos Matos, Rio Grande do Norte, which became fully operational in January 2025. The solar facilities cover an area of 410 hectares and boast a total installed capacity of 117.54 MW. By adopting a self-production model, the electricity generated will completely supply the power needs of the Mercedes-Benz manufacturing sites in Brazil.
