Lords Group Trading PLC has successfully acquired CMO Group Ltd for approximately GBP1.8 million. CMO Group, headquartered in Plymouth, England, specializes as an online retailer of construction products. Known originally as Construction Materials Online, CMO has established a significant presence in the industry, posting revenues of GBP52 million in 2024. The company underwent a pre-pack administration process before the acquisition, during which it was delisted from AIM and re-registered as a private entity.

Through this acquisition, Lords Group has taken ownership of all the trade and assets belonging to CMO. The deal will see approximately 120 CMO employees join the ranks of Lords Group as part of the merger. Lords Group emphasized that the administration process was designed to maintain business continuity as well as protect jobs and value wherever possible.
