Investcorp, a global alternative investment firm, has made a strategic investment in the infrastructure sponsor of the new Terminal 6 Project at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). This investment is part of a partnership with Corsair Capital, resulting in a newly established entity known as Investcorp Corsair Infrastructure Partners. Investcorp Corsair will play a crucial role as the lead financial sponsor for the Project, leveraging its wholly owned airports platform, Vantage Airport Group, as the developer, operator, and manager of the new terminal.

The $4.2 billion Project aims to replace the existing Terminal 7, enhancing operational efficiencies and passenger experiences. The new 1.2 million-square-foot terminal will connect international and domestic flights via Terminal 5, including 10 new gates, expansive waiting areas, over 100,000 square feet of commercial amenities, airline lounges, and two AirTrain stations, thereby addressing rising passenger demands.
