EOS Investment Management (EOS IM) and global asset manager Capital Dynamics have jointly acquired the rights to develop a substantial solar project in the Lazio region of Italy. The project will feature a total installed capacity of 87.1MW, which is capable of meeting the annual energy needs of approximately 68,000 households. This solar PV initiative stands out as one of the largest currently in development in Italy and is notable for being constructed without reliance on public subsidies. The project's construction has already commenced, and it promises to create over 120 job opportunities during this phase, prioritizing local resources.

The new solar facility will employ advanced technical solutions to maximize efficiency and reliability. Additionally, it is designed to integrate modern energy storage technologies, enhancing its contribution to the electric grid. Upon completion, this investment will directly align with five of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, promoting health and wellbeing, clean and accessible energy, innovation and infrastructure, sustainable cities and communities, and climate protection.
