Information on the Target
Cluby, a Finnish startup founded in 2018 by Kalle Ek, Joel Leino, and Pekka Koskinen, has developed an innovative mobile app-based loyalty system tailored specifically for the restaurant industry. This platform enables consumers to engage with loyalty programs of their favorite dining establishments, allowing restaurants to efficiently cultivate customer loyalty, gather insights about their clientele, and market various digital offerings such as stamp cards, loyalty rewards, membership cards, and more. Cluby currently serves approximately 500 restaurant clients in Finland, including notable names like Boneless, Momotoko, Green Hippo, Milliklubi, and Fat Lizard.
The app was launched just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed Cluby to focus on researching emerging restaurant technologies and trends. Using valuable feedback from its initial clients, the company enhanced its service during the industry's challenging two-year period. Following the pandemic, Cluby's user base surged, amassing over 100,000 downloads in Finland alone, and positioning itself for significant expansion efforts across Europe.
