VALEARA has acquired the DRK Clinics in Rheinland-Pfalz, enhancing its psychiatric and neurological service offerings while ensuring continued operations and staff employment.
Target Information
Crowe BPG has advised VALEARA, a leading provider of psychiatric and neurological care, on its acquisition of the DRK Clinics in Worms, Bad Kreuznach, and Bad Neuenahr/Daun. These facilities are psychiatric specialty and day clinics operated by the German Red Cross (DRK) in the Rheinland-Pfalz region. Each clinic also features a Psychiatric Institute Outpatient Clinic (PIA). The Worms and Bad Kreuznach locations focus on the psychiatric treatment of adults, while the Bad Neuenahr/Daun site is dedicated to children and adolescents.
This acquisition secures the future of the three clinics. Under VALEARA’s ownership, effective June 1st, normal patient services will continue without interruption. Additionally, the employment contracts of the staff members will transfer seamlessly to VALEARA. In total, approximately 180 employees work across these three facilities, with 32 in Worms, 33 in Bad Kreuznach, and 121 in Bad Neuenahr/Daun.
