Orbia Advance Corporation S.A.B. de CV (BMV: Orbia) has finalized a significant transaction with The Supreme Industries Ltd., a leading plastic pipe manufacturer in India. Effective August 1, 2025, the transaction involved the sale of Orbia Building & Infrastructure’s (Wavin) pipes and fittings business within India for USD 30 million, along with adjustments for net working capital. This deal also includes a long-term technology licensing agreement that permits Supreme to utilize Orbia Wavin's comprehensive portfolio of advanced water management solutions.
As a result of this agreement, Supreme now completely owns Orbia Wavin's operational manufacturing facilities located in Banmore (Madhya Pradesh), Hyderabad (Telangana), and Neemrana (Rajasthan). This acquisition enables Supreme to leverage Orbia Wavin's renowned technologies for water management across India and the SAARC region, thereby enhancing its capabilities in drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater solutions.
