Westconnect GmbH, founded in 2022, is a joint venture between E.ON SE and Igneo Infrastructure Partners. The company is dedicated to the deployment of high-speed broadband infrastructure across Germany, specifically targeting suburban and rural regions. As of now, Westconnect has successfully installed over 10,000 kilometers of fiber-optic cables in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Lower Saxony.
