The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced plans to establish two new hotels in Dhaka, Bangladesh under its prestigious Taj and Vivanta brands. These hotels will form part of a modern integrated complex that will also feature high-end retail spaces. Both projects are classified as Greenfield developments, marking IHCL's entry into the vibrant hospitality sector of Bangladesh.
The planned mixed-use development will include a 230-room Taj hotel and a 130-room Vivanta hotel. Each property aims to enhance the culinary scene in Dhaka by providing various dining options, including all-day diners and specialty restaurants. Notably, the Taj will introduce its exclusive business club, 'The Chambers,' to the city.
