Honeywell has formed a manufacturing partnership with Navin Fluorine International Limited to produce environmentally friendly Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) technology in India, enhancing sustainability offerings in the market.

Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON), a globally recognized leader in innovation, has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Navin Fluorine International Limited (NFIL), a company within the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group. This collaboration focuses on the long-term supply of Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) technology, developed by Honeywell under the Solstice® brand. The production of HFOs is expected to commence at NFIL's facility in Gujarat, India, in the second quarter of 2022 (April to June).
The next-generation HFO products are designed to be environmentally friendly, as they have zero ozone depletion potential and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of one. These products will help customers reduce their carbon footprints without compromising on performance and can be used in various applications, including foam insulation blowing agents and refrigerants for chillers.
