Geely Holding Group and Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (HK) (collectively referred to as 'Geely') have entered into a strategic agreement with Renault Group to acquire a 26.4% stake in Renault do Brasil. This partnership aims to accelerate the development of both Geely and Renault brands within the local market, laying the groundwork for the launch of technologically advanced new energy vehicles (NEVs).
Under this collaboration, Geely will localize production at Renault Group's manufacturing facility in the Ayrton Senna Industrial Park in Brazil. Leveraging Renault do Brasil's existing dealership network, Geely intends to market its range of new energy vehicles in Brazil.
