The company has recently entered into a purchase agreement to acquire the assets of teNeues from the Weltbild Group. This acquisition allows Gestalten to not only expand its editorial portfolio but also to continue employing all 20 of teNeues’ employees, thereby maintaining the operational continuity of its business.

teNeues has a diversified illustrated book program consisting of approximately 500 active titles available in both German and English. Having generated sales of around €10 million last year, the company faced financial challenges following the insolvency of the Weltbild Group earlier this year. The deal is contingent upon creditor approval.
