Cyient Solutions & Systems Private Limited is a newly established joint venture between Cyient, an engineering and technology services provider, and BlueBird Aero Systems, an Israeli leader in the design and production of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The joint venture operates with a 51% shareholding held by Cyient and 49% by BlueBird. It aims to provide innovative drone solutions to India's defense, paramilitary, security, and police forces, with a focus on advanced micro, mini, and tactical UAV systems.
The venture will leverage BlueBird’s technology and manufacturing expertise to develop, manufacture, assemble, integrate, and test UAV systems at production facilities located in Hyderabad. In addition, the company will offer comprehensive after-sales support, including maintenance, repairs, and spare parts for various UAV systems across India.
