This acquisition follows BM Engineering's initial steps to expand its presence in Antwerp, which began in 2018 with the purchase of the consulting firm Studiebureau Stranger. This firm is renowned for its contributions to the development of the Port of Antwerp and specializes in stability studies, structural engineering, blast-proof engineering, and hydraulic constructions. It was rebranded as Stranger A&E and became a sister company within the BM Engineering Group.
