Actis, a prominent investment firm specializing in growth markets, has officially signed an agreement to acquire a 135-kilometer electricity transmission line from EDP Brasil. This acquisition is set to enhance its Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund 2 (ALLIF2), which focuses on the Brazilian electricity transmission sector under the platform named Skyline. This new asset, located in Southern Brazil, near Porto Alegre, is a strategic addition as it follows closely the integration of two other assets into Skyline's portfolio in the second quarter of 2025.
This acquisition will expand the platform's reach to over 1,500 kilometers of transmission lines throughout Brazil, fostering further diversification of Skyline's investment in the transmission sector and a broadened geographical presence across the country.
